I have always wondered something... Is there any way to get music files extracted from a ds rom? or even a gba rom?

If so, how do you do it?

I only recently wanted to take the intitiative to find out, lol.

If possible, can someone give me a quick guide/link/or anything useful?

Can you give me a way how to?

I knew intitially that I'd have to open up the rom and take files out to begin with.

I tried to use DSlazy and I got a sound.dat file, and I dont know what to do with it.

But I'm all ears to what you have to say, Savagewaffle [IMG]

I'm not exactly sure how, but there must be a way to open the sound.dat file you got out of.

http://nintendon.s6.xrea.com/pc/dl.php The first download here can extract them into midi files. (Though the instruments aren't right.)

The site's gone so I can't find a download for it, but VGMTrans also should work.

Also, both of these will export to midi. Most of the time it completely screws up the instruments.
