Well, I heard from some friends they did some survey or something and earned like 10 bucks. Then they said "We used it to buy some DS screen protectors" and i'm like omg i want one. Anyone know how this works?

I do the same thing... You'll need a PayPal account and some decent survey sites. For Aussies, I'd recommend Lightspeed Panel, Ciao Surveys & GlobalTestMarket. (Google, I'm on my iPod)
You might want to create another email though, you do get a bit of junk...

Never been one for these things. You will get alot of spam so you will want to get a new email just for it. If it asks for your Phone Number don't bother, otherwise you will get alot of people calling you trying to sell stuff. I think its a lot easy just to get a real job and earn even more money.

Go mow some lawns or something [IMG]

At any rate, I think you have to be 18 or over to legally take online surveys for money. At any rate, you'll need a bank account (If you plan to use surveys that deposit money to Paypal) to actually get the money.

Yes it works, but it's very time consuming. I'd say it works out to be around $6 an hour, if you've got better things to do I wouldn't bother. Also you usually need to earn a set amount before you can withdraw any. Different sites have different amounts, for example GlobalTestMarket usually pays $2.50 a survey, but you have to total $50 before you can touch it. Lightspeed on the other hand pays less but you can withdraw as little as $5 at a time.

But yeah, there's probably better ways to earn cash, and if you don't already have PayPal and a bank account I probably wouldn't bother.

almost all of those sites, you need to be over 18 to do anyway
its pointless, not to mention once you give them your address, they will start sending real junk mail to your address
most of which are scams anyway and require you to complete offers (like those "get a free ipod")

If you live in the UK, you could use Quidco or Topcashback to get money back for purchases and buying insurance and creating bank accounts, so if your parents want you to buy something online for them use that to get a certain percent or amount of money and split it with them as a fee for helping them.

There are even some merchants that pay you for viewing their website (although pennies) or signing up for a newsletter if you so wish to get a few pounds like that

P.S. Sites like this probably exist in other places of the world too.

I don't think that doing your next door neighbor is a bad thing unless she is not attractive, but no I meant chores
