My friend gave me the trim. cia for yokai watch 3 USA. How do I install the game on my 3DS and is it possible to safely go online with the trim. cia game of it?

The Trim.Cia would is just the game. cia is the 3ds file extension, if that makes sense, so yes. you can play online. In order to install the cia you will need a 3d's with CFW installed and you will have to have either Big blue menu, or FBI to install it If you don't have CFW, I recommend following Jack Sorrels guide, he did a really good job.
