Hi I'm trying to download a video from a TV site. The site has films for a limited time, but then removes them and add new ones. I found out that it is possible to download films from this site if I use FFMPEG: https://ffmpeg.org/

I used this command: ffmpeg -i url -c copy name.mkv. However, the subtitles were not included. Is there any way to include these in the download, or download these in a separate file and then merge them with the movie afterwards? Can you please tell me how?
Thank you

Use google.
Do not ask about warez here.
Gee, you sure are helpful. OP, do you know the source is using MKV, or are you just muxing it as that? Just because the site may use subtitles doesn't mean the source is MKV. They may be using a standalone SRT file. You can download official scene subs from a lot of places and it's not considered warez.

There's a lot more out there if you just Google around. Also, the SRT file has to be named the same as the movie file.

I don't know that the site is using mkv. The reason I used mkv was because on a forum where they discussed how to download from this TV site, they used mkv in the command. Thank you very much for answering me. However, I don't think this will work for some of the movies on there, because some are for example documentaries and not movies. Do you know about a way to download movies/documentaries with the subtitles included or as a separate file?

Unless the subtitles are hardcoded into the video file, I have no idea. You'd have to know the exact path to the SRT that the server uses, which would require a lot of guesswork.
