TL/DR: I need to delete old hack to install priiloader, and hopefully be able to update to 4.3

I bought a second hand wii. I can't update to 4.3, it says my wii is at the latest version. I can't hack my wii using str2hax and letterbomb. Can't use FlashHax as well because there is no internet channel. So I used the old Bannerbomb method. It works, but I can't install priiloader. When I tried to install, it popped up two lines of message. I can't see the first line, the message is cropped at the top of the screen. The second line says 'Press A to exit back to loader...'

I think the wii was hacked before, but the previous owner said he has forgotten because it was so long ago.
How can I remove the previous hack and install priiloader?
I would also like to update to 4.3 using the official nintendo update if possible.

I run syscheck on the wii, and here is the result:

Does the HackMii Installer work? Did you already install the Homebrew Channel?
I'm not an expert in interpreting syschecks. It looks like (almost) all IOS have been replaced with cIOS (Trucha Bug everywhere, highest revision 65535 to block updates). Maybe a cIOSCorp or DarkCorp installation??

As far as I know the Priiloader installer will stop when the IOS are messed up.

I guess Xflak would say: Just run ModMii. Would be my first idea as well. ModMii can safely update to 4.3 as well (not that it is really useful).

To make sure I suggest you reply to the Wii NOOB Paradise thread and post your question+syscheck there as the ASK! section is very limited and not suitable for discussing. More for short and easy questions+answers.

Good luck!

The hackmii works, and I already have Homebrew Channel.
Yes, seems like the IOS still contain an old hack or something, I read somewhere that priiloader won't work if it detected some other installation or something.
Ok, I will ask at the forum thread instead.

Problem solved. Thanks to XFlak.
Apparently my wii had been region changed in the past.
What I did to solve the issue:
Use Modmii sysCheck Updater, then use Modmii Region Change.

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
