I’m looking for a way to access and decrypt the save files from my Nintendo Switch’s SD card. I’m specifically trying to copy my Fallout Shelter save data to my PC, but my Switch is unmodded, and I’m not sure how to proceed.

I know that accessing save data can be tricky, especially without modifying the console. Are there any tools or methods that allow for decrypting save files directly from the SD card without needing to mod the Switch?

First, back up your save data to the Nintendo Online Cloud on your unmodded Switch (a 7-day free trial is available if needed). Then, using a modded Switch (SysMMC), log in with your account—perhaps on a friend's device—solely to download the cloud backup. After that, use DBI or any preferred homebrew app to back up your save data to SDCard. Finally, be sure to delete your account from the modded Switch.

you need the console keys, SO YOU NEED A MODDED CONSOLE, there is two tutorials about extract savegames from NAND or NAND Backups. use the search bar at top of page.
