It does seem to work better on younger cats- teeth and claws are about all that await me if I tried it on the older cats around here where being picked up by the scruff of the neck was doable a few years back and quite useful before then.

I am intrigued by your electrode idea.... maybe if I find one of those electric fly swatters and juice it a bit.
