PS1/2 How to create a memcard using an already modded PS2 ?

Hi guys, hope somebody can help me out here.

Current situation :

I have a PS2 phat with memorycard bootloader and 160 GB HDD and a PS2 slim which is unmodded. I would like to set-up a memorycard bootloader for the PS2 slim, preferably using what I already have, keep in mind I bought the memorycard with bootloader, didn't set it up myself.

I assume it isn't as simple as copying the memorycard.

How do I start going about this ? Any links or tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

FreeMcBoot. There are tutorials on the site. I'm not sure you could create it on the fat PS2 and use it in the slim. That would be very convinient though.
