I'm trying to create this unown: http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/unown
Problem is, on Pokegen, I don't know how to make my Unown know 4 different types of Hidden Power? I thought of making it in Pokemon Showdown, but I can't export it as a .pkm file :( Thanks for your time.

You can't make it have different types of hidden power.

Hidden power's type and damage is determined by the pokemon's inherent stats, when it's used. You cannot use two different types in the same battle (unless you have cheats to modify the pokemon's stats in-battle).

It sounds to me like the article is mostly a joke article, tbh.

Well I understand that, and I assume that is why Pokegen has no option for it. Thing is, i've seen people use different HP on Unown, but I don't know if there is a certain program like maybe pokesav that allows that? Like I said, on pokemon showdown you can do that but I know of no way to export the Poke as a .pkm file.

Yeah, they are joking about it's power, but the stats are true, as I have been a competitive battler for a long time and can tell if these are true (which they have to be anyway because on smogon's tier pokemon lists, they give you 100% accurate info so you can create a good team.

Well for some reason, the link isnt opening for me, but did they really have a moveset with four different HP in there? or is it just HP Fire/Fightng/Ice/Dragon?

because that just means either one of them, not all of them together.

there is no way to have different hidden powers in one moveset, even if you give a pokemon hidden power in all its attack slots.
because hidden powers type and BP is determined by pokemon IV stats. and they determine every hidden power, even if there are 4 of them.

where have you seen people use different hidden power types on one pokemon?

On another note, if you want to cheat so badly, why not just use any other move?

Also, Unown is never good. Its just bad, even if it got more attacks.

I'm guessing you don't play competitive battling. I understand it is based off of IV's. I am not cheating, just making a Pokemon, a legal one for competitive battling. The only move Unown can know is HP, so giving it another move wouldn't be acceptable. And, I think I get what you're saying, like they are saying to choose from 1 of the 4. And yes, any Pokemon can be good. With specific items, IV's, EV's, and moveset, an Unown could easily demolish any team. An example is found here:
I use Pokegen to make my Pokes, but I guess even with that there is no way to have 4 different HPs.. :/

No, Unown can only have one move, no matter what you do. Also, Unown sucks no matter what you do with it. Maybe if you use a ton of stat boosters and Baton Pass to Unown it might be able to inflict some damage, or if its level is like 20 higher than the opponent... But at that point you might as well use any other Pokemon.

I am obviously talking to people who don't do competitive battling.

I tried it. There's a very good reason Unown is NU. Even with a Choice item its stats are just horrendous. The thing is, you might be able to take down some noobs with an IV/EV cheated Unown, especially if you Baton Pass some boosts onto it, but anyone who knows what he's doing will just switch in some priority move or choice scarfed Pokemon or whatever and kill it.

wth. you must be pretty new to competetive battling then, if you actually thought a) that unown or any other pokemon could have several HP of different types and b) that this would not be against the rules just cause its possible to do with a cheating device or pokegen.

every pokemon that gets enough boosts with a baton pass + entry hazards can kill an unboosted team that doesnt have priority moves, immune pokemon or any other kind of strategy. but how often can you pull such bullshit against people that actually know what they're doing? i tell you how often, never. it never happens against people that know what they're doing. which is everyone that really plays competetive. and one way or another, at that point, every pokemon will work just as well

i actually dont believe the magicarp movie is real in that the legendary using noob is actually some friend. i mean, what were the chances to run into nothing but slow pokemon? no mewtwo? or deoxys? sky forme? (no idea if thats platinum or not)

also, competetive battling does not force you to use pokegen. i played competetive for a few months and got like two and a half boxes with pretty good pokemon in that time. without using pokegen or sav

I've been a competitive battler for over 2 years. And yes, it does happen, as it has happened to me before. Also, even if facing an experience player, a Shedinja can still easily set up for a Pokemon to proceed to sweep, as once again, I have done it. And yes, having an Unown with 4 types of HP would be legal, but apparently it isn't possible. I have used non hacked Pokemon as well, but it is much more convenient to use something to make them. And it isn't bad to wonder if it is possible to have a Pokemon know 4 different types of HP, seeing as with Pokegen/Sav you can make a Caterpie know Fire Blast.

IIRC Hidden Power's junk is determined when it's used, not learned. So there's no way to do this unless, as I said, you were to change the pokemon's core stats mid-battle (which is obviously not happening legitly).

the fact that it isnt possible already implies that it is also not legal. as a rule of thumb, having multiple instances of the same attack already isnt legal as its not possible without using pokegen.

if you could use shedinja to set up, then there must have been something wrong with the other player. do you, by any chance, mean ninjask? using substitute, speed boost and a berry? which is a cheap tactic that usually can only be stopped after the switch

Yes, i meant Ninjask, lol. A rather frail Pokemon. And no, no berry used. Usually the combination of Sub, Protect, Baton pass, and (if I remember correctly) Swords dance, with Speed boost usually results in a sweep.

and thats why many leads use taunt or encore to stop this kind of thing. or roar or whirlwind.
even though its a little rare these days, theres also haze.
trick room negates all your speed ups
priotity moves usually kill ninjask too. and its such a wonderful pokemon to set up on too. i had a garchomp with roar and sworddance when every other team tried to use ninjask as a lead. ninjask teams never use ice shard.

I've actually noticed that about a lot of Ninjask teams as well. It's like some people just put him into a random team thinking they can just set up out of nowhere. I am always prepared for Taunt as it is very popular nowadays (although i don't notice it as much in NU as in the other tiers, but that could just be me). But with with the Garchomp, it is pretty risky for people to bring a Ninjask into an Ubers game lol. :)

To elaborate on this, Hidden Power's type and base power are dependent on the IVs of the Pokémon using them, at the time of use.

    Here's an Unown:

[FixedIVs] Unown.100 "H" @ Insert Choice item here
    - Hidden Power

Assume this Unown is legit, and its Hidden Power is of the Dragon type with a base power of 55. If also playing legit, all uses of the move by that Unown will be Dragon-typed, 55 power.

Next, assume you're modifying that Pokémon for use in legit battles.

[FixedIVs, Illegal] Unown.100 "H" @ Optional Insert Choice item here
    - Hidden Power
    - [Illegal] Hidden Power
    - [Illegal] Hidden Power
    - [Illegal] Hidden Power

All instances of that move on the same Unown will have the same type and base power, Dragon and 55, because they use the IVs of the user. I'm not sure whether choice items block duplicated moves in illegal movesets, but all Hidden Power instances behave the same; it would only matter if you wanted the extra 45-72 PP :)

Finally, assume you're using the modified Unown for use in cheated battles. Turn on your cheat device and you can change your Unown's IVs mid-battle, which might not actually be broadcast to your opponent. These would change the type and the base power of any and all Hidden Powers on the user.

The battle may run oddly in that case, though. If the type changed, you may see "It's super-effective!" and the defending Pokémon fainting, but the opponent would see "It's not very effective..." and their Pokémon would stay in battle; your DS would be expecting your opponent to switch, wait for a switch message from him/her, and behave really oddly when the packet is a move selection from a null Pokémon (!!).

I'm pretty sure you'd need 4 Unown with 1 Hidden Power each on your team to have 4 different Hidden Power types.
