Hacking How to clean up a soft modded wii?

I just bought a wii that was soft modded. (has a bad drive), its currently on 4.1u

I do not know what has/has not been done to the unit. I would like to wipe/reset the unit and then re-soft mod it? What is the best coarse of action? I have already modded a few systems so thats not going to be the issue. Thanks.

just use moddmii from stickies and overwrite old softmod thats the best way
