Can anyone help me? I need to change the battery for M3 mini pro and I have no clue to to get the original battery out. It surrouned by some yellow rubber and attached to the motherboard. Any help would be appreicated.

there should be a thin piece of metal which attaches it to the PCB. This is soldered on, and will need to be forcibly removed. Afterwards you can resolder or use some strong tape.

actually i see 2 places where the battery is connected by a thin piece of metal to the motherboard. Do I have to desolder or forcable remove both?

    Thanks.

There is a + and - point where its connected to the PCB, unsolder both and replace with a new battery. The yellow tape around the battery is not needed.

I don't think soldering the new battery on is necessary for its function. Use a strong tape so it's removable again [IMG]
