I've been wondering about this same thing for some time. I cannot find DVD-R DL disks to save my life, only DVD+R DL. Is it possible to set their booktype to DVD-ROM like a regular DVD+R? USB loading isn't really an option as I rather enjoy the tactile sensation of putting a disk in the Wii's slot and having the game appear in the disk channel. (Yes I use cIOScorp, unlike the majority of noobs and haters, I've never had an issue with it.)

When I burned the game I didn't do anything special.

I used DVD+R DL, and just burned the thing. I didn't bother with layer breaks or anything like that and it worked just fine.

I'm not saying its the right way to do it, but it is an option.

yes you can set the booktype to dvd-rom and it is highly recommended.

cIOS rev14 breaks dual layer support though so you might need to install an older version to play it properly from a disk.

I've got ios36 rev 12 for DL support and 36 rev 14 for mario kart support.

at the same time? how do you manage that? (or do you install one then the other when you want to switch games)
