Hey, I just wanted to know if theres a correct way to burn roms onto a DVD-R to be compatible with the newest emulators that support it. Do you guys suggest a specific program with specific settings? Thanks for any help. If anyone has actually done it and got it working, I'd like to know how you did it so I can do it without messing up (have very little DVD-Rs left.)

ImgBurn. works like a charm. DVD+R also works.

Got it to work, thanks! Now my SD card can be used for actual homebrew! [IMG]

Can the same method be used to burn movie/videoclips/etc. to use with the MPlayer that reads DVDs?

What I do with IMGBurn is I make an image of all my roms first, then I burn the image. That's just my way of doing things.

Huh? So apart from DVDs, MPlayer can also read movies as files from DVD? Sweet, I didn't know that...

Edit: and btw, is the DVD-ROM BookType also important for roms or seperate movie files?

Wait so I just use the "burn files to DVD" option, select the roms, and burn them straight? No set-up? What happens if I burn two different movies onto one DVD? How will it break up the two, or will MPlayer break up each one into its own chapter? Have you done this personally and can verify? (I'd like to know before I waste my last few movies, but If I could get a movie compilation going on DVD that'd be fantastic.
