I know the question of unbricking have been asked many times, but Does someone know a procedure to brick a DS! without opening, possibly with some sort of firmware?

Thanks

Is this some kind of mean trick you're planning with a friend's DS, zone911?

but the flashme trick doesn't work because it's already flashed with flashme.

I can't seem to find the DS trojan though...

You could do the following:

1. run Unflashme.nds and Unflash your DS to its original Firmware.

2. Boot your Flashcard with a NoPass Method (Passme 1,2,3, Superpass ...)

3. Run Flashme once again.

4. Flash your DS until it has reached 3~4 %.

5. Turn it off

6 Congratulatons ! You have Succesfully bricked your DS (and can now only repair it with Parallel Port flashing...)

A warranty claim won't work; they'll just swap the broken DS for a new or refurbished phat.

Seems like a complete waste of a perfectly working DS though; are you sure that your "magical fountain of money in the sky" will actually buy a new one to replace it when it breaks? (cause it's pretty obvious you're not funding this little scam yourself). And why waste the £30 trade-in?

Stores are still selling the Fat DS's, so if you're planning on getting one from them, you're out of luck.

And NOA has plenty of DS's left.

NM, they probably just threw them out.

Reminds me of how my friend would get a new ipod before his warrenty runs out. This was ages ago and Apple brought out a version with a larger HDD and photo viewer. So he loaded up a bunch of songs and scrolled the list down then gave a firm tap to the desk. I think it locked it up for good and they sent him a new one.
