how the hell do i delete this ? !

i use mozilla firefox and if you click on bookmarks on top you see a folder called

Bookmark toolbar folder

HOW THE HELL DO I DELETE IT I TRIED EVERYTHING !

i know you can delete it cuase i deleted it before long ago ! help me please its driving me nuts !

Bookmarks->Organize bookmarks->highlight "Bookmark toolbar", press delete.

I would suggest keeping it though, as it gives you quick access to links under the adress bar. If you want to add quick links to it quickly, drag the current tab to it and you have a new quicklink. Or to delete from the quicklink bar, rightclick it and select delete.

Actually you can't erase it. If you try and select it for removal DELETE grays out. I just usually move it to some subfolder of a subfolder and ignore its existence.

Firefox requires you to have a Bookmarks Toolbar Folder to have something to display when you choose View -> Toolbars -> Bookmarks Toolbar. The default folder for this purpose is called (aptly enough) "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder". To delete this folder, you must first designate another folder as the folder to display on the Bookmarks Toolbar.

 1. Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks
 2. Click on any other folder
 3. Edit -> Set as Bookmarks Toolbar Folder
 4. Delete the folder called "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder"

ok now this is my new problem !

i want to completely delete my mozilla firefox and install it again but my bookmarks are ALWAYS there Along with other changes i made

how can i tottally delete firefox bookmarks and all and install firefox again ?

i cant find the folder were it is saving to its driving me nuts lol

uninstall it, then delete the folder on program files

i did that and then when i reinstall firefox again all my bookmarks and changes i made ARE STILL THERE

somewhere firefox is saving these settings and i cant find it ! its driving me nuts

You need to remove the mozilla folder from C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\
