Yeah, I keep it in vertical and there's no issue with that as it saves space and anything never went wrong because of it. However, if I were to put that dust in there don't you think you'd see a mix of grey dirt too than only white? lolSomeone put the dust into the SD card slot, there is no other explaination.
Or perhaps you hold the console in vertical... on the wrong side![]()
Check inside...It's all clean now. Should not get clogged with dust again too quickly but the Wii U's a magnet for this type of thing.

Well, I'm not going to open up the Wii U since by the looks of the video below it'd be too much of a hassle and I'd probably fuck up trying to put it back together afterwards.Check inside...
no no no. I swear it's not. I never get my Wiiu dusty that much. I rarely clean it.It's all clean now. Should not get clogged with dust again too quickly but the Wii U's a magnet for this type of thing.

seriously though I saw the thread title and had the fright of my life when I saw that picture, holy bejeezus.
I bought my Wii U at launch and have never cleaned it once and keep it on the floor in a very dusty city (I live in a desert actually) and it's nowhere near half that bad
I doubt it's a Wii U problem as much as it is an environment problem. I don't know what the situation's like in your household/where you live
Absolutely. I agree.I would put a security camera on that slot in case it happens again.
In the mean time, my sd card is in since 2012. There is still no issues to remove it and put it back in.I've decided to remove the dummy SD Card 'cause if it gains dust again then I won't be able to hoover it out so let's see how it goes.
