see the short hand in an analog clock...move?

Seriously, I've only seen it once when I was 6 or 8??? It's just a rare thing.

I think an alternative title for this post would have been "Have you ever..."

And I'm not lying. I'm really honest. If you don't believe me then don't. I won't go totally insane just to convince you.

No way this is just a silly prank to try and get to stare at the clock. Belongs in testing

This one time I was sick at school so they sent me to the sick room and all I did was watch the clock. I didn't watch it move very much, but I did watch it move

Does it move in PAL?

But on a more serious note, yeah, I've seen it move, but only on my watch.

Quite a few times. The distance between hours is proportionate to the revolution of the long hand (minutes). So, you would see the short hand exactly in the middle of two numbers when the long hand is at 6.

Um...what sort of question is this? I see the short (hour?) hand move several times a day. We've had a face clock hanging in the living room forever, and even though I've got a laptop in my room this year, and a phone I always go out to the living room to check the time. And often, since the little kids have to share stuff in 5, 10, or 15 minute increments, I watch the clock to be precise about when its time to pass over a favorite toy.

@ MystikEkeoz, this is an analog clock
