I have a PAL Wii with a Wii Key.

I am under the impression that I can let PAL backups update my firmware and do not need to run BrickBlocker on them. But letting NTSC backups update my firmware breaks things royally.

    Is this correct?

The backup in question is the Metroid Prime 3 iso from ESPALWii.

    Thanks

[edit] I seem to recall there being a guide about this. Can't find it though [IMG]

Make sure your Wii firmware is updated to the most recent aswell as your wiikey (to 1.9b).

Since the iso is a PAL release, you have nothing to worry about. Just burn it and run it. No patching. Let the update run through
