$50 a month 25gb of download and 1.5mb/256k speed.

I wish Australia would catch up to the rest of the world with broadband but I think it's gonna take some time

DL: 4 Mb/s (1024 KB/s)
UL: 512 Kb/s (64 KB/s)

My local city's provider. 29 € per month (around $35).
P.S.: Could get a much better connection (100 MB/s DL) for about 20 € higher in the near future, but I don't really need it ...

EDIT: It's Kb, not MB.

I am paying $60 (that includes the unlimited newsgroup access, so without it will probably be less)

Well here in Bucaramanga, Colombia I got a 500 kbps down / 256 kbps up for $60.000 (aprox. 30 USD) very expensive, specially compared with all other connections... sigh, I'm still hoping for Telefonica to push the speeds up, we really need Speed Boosts here

BTW, with my connection I download up to 54 KB/s and Upload up to 35 KB/s
