Hacking How much better is the acekard than the r4/dstt

I can't decide what card i should buy to replace my r4.


either a acekard or dstt.

Go for acekard. Way better GUI.

but all i really do it click the game i want to play + apply cheats and change the brightness.

As a minimalist, do you like your games alphabetized? Do you like to organize your games into folders? Do you ever play GBA games? Do you like your menu to not lag when you use a larger microSD card?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, get the Acekard. Really, there is no comparison between the two menus. The Acekard menu is simple, elegant, and extremely responsive. The DSTT menu...isn't.

AceKard 2 is better. It has a better GUI, better compatibility, it has an awesome custom firmware that you can download here called AKAIO, more features and less risk.The DSTT has a history oc corrupting your MicroSD card especially if you try to patch a game for various reasons like to patch a Japanese game so its in English, to fix a piracy check.bug and so on. So I say stick with the AceKard 2.
