I've never been much of an anime fan, but there are a very few that I like. Those old ultra-violent ones from the 80s and 90s they advertised over here as "adult animation" really late at night are pretty cool in a mostly so-bad-it's-good sort of way. I liked Evangelion even if it was a little pretentious at times. Elfen Lied is cool too, though that borders on being one of those stupid harem shows. Gantz and Black Lagoon are probably the newest ones I've watched though. EOF so stupid video:
