Oh that reminds me.
A couple of years back I had suffered younger siblings and so set out to actually buy one so I could get a GPS sorted for someone leaving
on a jet plane that evening. Being as it was Sunday and I only had the real world to buy stuff in I ended up in maplin (Americans in the audience then however bad you remember radioshack being know that I would kill for someone that competent most times when dealing with maplin, and in most towns they are the only place you are going to get electronic components). Knowing they have people by the balls they charge accordingly (I needed a pack of fuses earlier this week and they wanted some £3.50 for them, I went down the road 150m to the £1 shop after that and got the same amount...) and wanted £5 for just the adapter. After the moment of shock I asked what the very nice 8 gig microSDHC next to it cost, one that also featured an adapter.
Answer
£6, which at the time was probably better than I could do online.
Guess which one I purchased that day.
