I'm on a 9.2 O3DS XL with menuhax coldboot to RxTools 10.4 EmuNAND via BootCtr.
It takes about 26 seconds to get to the EmuNAND Home Menu.

How long does it take for your 3DS to coldboot hax and what method are you using?

    Somewhere around the corner
It's always seamlessly whenever I turn on my console , somewhere around 10 seconds I'd say

    O3DS with ctrbootmanager

n3ds eur 9.0 sysnand to reinand 10.4 30seconds. I believe I'm using theme hax into ctrboot manager.

N3DS. Pretty long. I've timed it including steps
at 10 seconds the menuhax splashscreen displays
at 16 seconds it shows ctrbootmanager which does a 3 sec countdown
then at 32 seconds the home menu. So that would be 29 without the delay in ctr.
    I think I have a shitty sd-card

That's weird. I'm n3ds ctrbootmanager to rxtools (or homebrew) and It's about 12 seconds for me. I'm on emunand 9.5 though so that may be the reason why. I'm seeing that people on n3ds emunand 10.4 have longer boot times.

That shouldn't have any effect on boot speed. >>

I think its more a matter of RxTools vs Reinand boottime.
SD card speed probably has a factor too.

..and whether or not you boot straight into your cfw, or if you use a bootmanager. O.o

I use a bootmanager with the delay of 0, so it is pretty much instant. I have that so I can hold select and get into the homebrewloader.
