How long does it usually take for Xbox to fix your hacked gamertag?

    I got my gamertag hacked the other day and now I'm waiting for microsoft to email me all the information in order to get my account back. They said that it would take a week to a month to get this information. Has anyone got hacked before? How long did it take them for you? And what does microsoft do in order to protect your account from getting hacked again?

    you may want to call them. they may be able to help you much faster that way. Ive never had my account hacked, but usually they get it by talking to you online and getting to know you hoping that information you give them is related to your account. which then they recover it and take it from you.

    thats what i did and they said from a week to a month and im wondering how long it usually takes for everyone else. Interesting article btw.
