so within 3 days my son has managed to *cough* break/damage (i wanted to say something else but there would be 3 lines of swearing) not one but 2 of my transflash cards for my ds [IMG] and it just got me to thinking how long could you go without your ds if something similar happened to you.
yes i know i have 3 games for the ds but considering how many i play in a day or which games are now my favourirtes i consider these irrelevant unless i get withdrawal symptoms soon and have to play them.

Spank him, and buy more [IMG]

So far I've gone around 2-3 months without playing DS since I don't have any microSDs (and other issues). I guess I can play my sister's though - but it's not for long, and I can't play stuff other than minigames because she doesn't want me taking savegame slots [IMG]

Once went a whole day without it on holiday because I was meeting a lot of relatives that day and my parents complained that I spend more time playing instead of talking to relatives. My god was my DS a lifesaver on holiday. It made the waiting time at the airport whizz right by.

Hmmm once I had to be without my M3CF for 1 WEEK !!! So I think thats the Maximum I can stand.... (in extreme situations) if I have it I trie to play the whole time. The Thing I noticed was the DS is a MULTIPLAYER MACHINE !!! [IMG] [IMG]

I went a few months of neglecting my DS because I was playing WoW. Then when I started playing the DS again, I accidentally screwed up my MicroSD card and had to wait about a week for 2 new ones to arrive.

I do have a M3 Perfect (MiniSD) too that I could have used, but I was too lazy to mess with the patcher. The R4 has spoiled me. [IMG]

Probably took them out of the R4 and snapped them is my guess.

while i was asleep he's managed to take the transflash cards out of the m3dss and you can see a crack/bend/line along the card. when i try to put them back into the simply it just reads loading on the ds and get's really, really hot, when i put them into the card adapter it also heats up really hot and the pc can't see them. HTF he managed to do this to both of them is beyond me.
