Hardware How likely am I to get a patched console from Amazon?

Probably going to take the plunge and just wondering how much of a gamble it is based on others experiences, doesn't seem possible to get the serial beforehand either.

I rolled the dice and ordered one on Prime Day back in July and was lucky as the serial number was close to ipatched units. At this point I think you are much better off printing out the numbers from the thread and taking it around to local stores. If th clerks won’t work with you take your money elsewhere.

If you do order from Amazon you will be able to check the serial number as soon as it ships as they include it in the order details now.
