Hardware how is the N3DSXL replacement shell quality compared to the original ones?

I recently received a red N3DSXL on a really beat up condition. I was wondering how good the replacement shells from Ebay/ Aliexpress are, or should I just slap a skin on the thing?

Anyone here using a replacement shell? :ha:

btw , I know someone who knows very well on how to install the shell, so the risks of destroying the unit is low. Thanks! :grog:
