Hardware How is RTX 20xx with 4k games?

I'd just like to have feedback about RTX 20XX from peoples who have it
I'd like to know what kind of games it can run in 4k

Starcraft 2?
SotTR?
GTAV?
You know, such games with high quality graphics
Also, AFAIK, RTX 2060 isn't released, but with your experience with more advanced gpu
Do you think RTX 2060 will be able to handle such games in 4k?

Only the 80ti, 80, and 70.
Under that will not have Raytracing tech and will only be named GTX.

And btw, a GPU isn’t a console. You still need to get a CPU, Mobo, RAM etc...

well, I googled RTX 2060, and I do get stuff
like "no rtx 2060 or rtx 2050 before 2019"

No it is GTX 2060.

My CPU is old, I must admit, but from what ive heard, most operation in a video game (except RTS) are made with GPU and use much much less the CPU

As for RAM, I have 16gb, isnt that enough?

Provided you don't have any bottlenecks, the RTX2080Ti can handle all modern titles at 4K without ray tracing. Ray tracing performance is unknown for now.

with at least 30 fps i hope?
I honnestly dont care about 60fps, 30 is enough for me

Edit: I just noticed that you meant 30fps+ with ray tracing.
It might be possible, Nvidia really hasn't shown any ray tracing capabilities with proper data to go with that.

Looks like RTX 20XX is to be avoided for now
They are much more expansive than GTX 10XX on release

Let's hope price will reduce...

I wouldnt count on it. The way things are looking, pc gaming is going to get more and more expensive.

The only thing that can change it is if amd releases a killer gpu range for low prices. Even though they managed to do it with cpu Im really not optimistic the same will happen with gpu. It will either be less performance again or high price like nvidia.

wait 1 more gen and you get probably better rt performance in 4k,i buyed in august a 1080ti,and gona wait at least till next year or 1.5y for another graphics card upgrade,this gen now is not worth the price tag.

If youre only aiming for 4k 30, just get like an rx 580 or 480. I have a 470 right now, and with a slight overclock i can get 4k 30 in Witcher 3 and better in less demanding games. I prefer 1080p 90-144fps though. 2080 and co are aimed at people looking to get solid 4k 60 on pretty demanding games.
