imgburn is probably the best burning software out there.

You're probably using cheap supports or have a semi-dead burner in your Laptop.

    Which brand are you using?

Also no need to burn at 3x, the entire "slower speed = better burning" thing was demonstraded totally unfounded and false [IMG]

Do the other Wii games you've burned work fine?

In that case, you might have got a bad rip of the game.

Just to make sure, you have softmodding your wii right? If not look for a guide. If you have, use DVD-R use IMG burn and when your burning makes sure nobody touches the laptop and just leave it until it's finished, your DVD drive might be dodgy.

sometimes laptop drives just go bad well it can happen on full size pc's too but much much more likely to happen on a laptop.

try reinstalling image burn and verify your iso is working by someone else who got it from the same source, if it is try burning it with all image burn default and automatic settings just to make sure you didnt change something by accident.

if that fails try burning something else just to be sure your laptop drive isnt dead if something else fails your drive might be done for.

it's the laptop that's having the problem right, not the wii? quite a few people here seem confused.
