When I got my gs6, I immediately installed the Google Now launcher and haven't looked back. I would remove the rest of the ShitWiz UI, but I can't because Samsung locks it's security up tight... I have a feeling they do that because they don't want people to remove it's damn customizations. Such a shame, but something I can live with for now... except for those damn emojis. I mean FUCK they're bad emoji..

You asked what modifications I had made to my android. I told you.

That said I have never heard Android used in that capacity -- obviously brand names get used in such a capacity all the time (hoover, biro, aspirin, frisbee, heroin, taser and the list goes on for a long time), but with regards to phones and tablets I had never heard it used as such.

Also I have to be the insufferable pedant that points out laser is actually an acronym for light amplification (by the) stimulated emission of radiation. Therefore no American style replacing the S with Z is necessary.

I really liked what I could do with Xposed GEL settings with the Google Now Launcher (until I updated google and it broke and I didn't bother getting back to the previous version), I don't need that many changes, but I do like hiding the dock since I think it's useless, and some other minor tweaks.

I'm running a heavily modified version of CM11. It also isn't old, despite it being 4.4.

I backported a lot of security fixes, and ported a few xposed plugins into the framework itself. I also ripped the telemetry code out of everything. I use the uG project instead of Google Apps.

Also, I have a fancy shell script that abuses bind mounting to set up linux on / from my SD.
