How has 2020 changed you?

Not a whole lot changed for me. I got my driver's license just before they got stricter and all.

My company wants me out, but I'm making them succumb to my demands for leaving, and have been in talks with a couple companies so I can change if needed.

It isn't a bad year per se. My company also fired my wife, and less than a couple of months later, she became a teacher again after a few years without having placement, and she is working in a school nearby!

Yeah, ain't a bad year after all.

Honestly, I had a pretty good year. My dad lost his job but was forced into full retirement, which is truly a good thing for his health overall, and we’re fortunate enough to be able handle that financially.

My boyfriend has been on UI for a while as well, but that’s just given him more free time, and he’s okay financially too. Overall, I’ve had more time for friends; it’s given me the chance to be closer to my family, to figure a lot of things out in my life.

For so many, this year has been awful, horrible to every possible extent. And I hope that for everyone who has suffered, 2021 will be a better year.

I have a friend who I am used to be very good with but sometimes for no reason he calls me names or say something bad to me. I don’t have many friends so I don’t know when someone crossed the line and I told him many times and he keeps doing it from time to time. The most important thing to me in any relationship is respect I never treat anyone like that.

This year I noticed that I can live alone I dont need him or anyone like that.

I cut him since august 2020 and three days ago he sent me a message about kfconsole ..... I didn’t reply to him .....

It's had its ups and downs for me.

The positives are that I've had consistent audio engineering work every single month this year, in past years I would get a random project to work on here or there but this year its been consistent all year round! Also, I work in healthcare too so my main job wasn't very affected. My social life didn't change drastically either, I'm in my late 20's now so the majority of my friends are doing their own things like working, raising families, and whatnot. Luckily I have my brother who I hang with daily and we play a shit ton of retro video games which is always a blast!

The negatives are that I haven't seen my fiancee in over a year now. She lives in Europe so with all international travel shut down its pretty much close to impossible for us to see each other. It's the longest we've gone without seeing each other our past 4 years of dating. I've also gained a few pounds too many thanks to the gyms being closed but also because my brother and I while play said retro games also eat and drink terribly. I still do home workout's a couple nights a week and try to stay active by going on 2-3 mile walks daily but yikes, I gotta cool it with the wine and Cheez-It's man.

i've always had a hard time socializing, last year i had progressed a lot, but since this year i barely spoke to anyone outside the internet or my parents, i lost a lot of progress

This in combination with my being in debt is what I hate the most about this year.

I've been generally anxious due to this whole covid-19 situation that the world is dealing with, I've also moved apart from my SO, and I've managed to hit the jackpot (3x) in terms of Neurodevelopmental disorders, now on paper. Life is good.

Honestly,the last 2-3 Weeks made me really angry (Covid/Lockdown/Vaccination Situation here in Austria....)
But I think,I tooked it to "serious"....
