A System Menu update is possibly likely to be announced at E3. Maybe Nintendo giving us the ability to switch VC titles between DSi and Wii? Who knows? The thing is, the Wii hacking community should watch what happens at Nintendo's E3 2009 Press conference. Who knows, this may or may not have an impact on Waninkoko and the Wii hacking community. What do you think?

It'll be the same story as last time around. If there's an update maybe it'll break something or other for a bit but then a solution will be found in a week and life will go on as usual.

System Menu 4.x will be announced and have some super amazing awesome new Mii feature that no one could care about, but will disable BannerBomb... no one will upgrade until Wanin comes out with the new upgrade function to keep BannerBomb/cIOS's

More info on Zelda Spirit Tracks, and the Metroid trilogy... might get a hint at a new Zelda Wii title, or a new Mario Wii title... but doubt it...

    there's E3 09 for ya...

If there is an update, hopefully someone I bet will be willing to take the risk and update it.

Also this just in: The price of stamps will continually increase year by year.

    Any thoughts on this?

I wouldn't count on a System Menu update just yet. We'll see how things go.

Keeping cIOS will be easy. Chances are they won't even try blocking it. But I doubt he'd do something to keep bannerbomb since that involves the system menu and it's not his exploit anyway. If BB dies then Team Twiizers will probably release something.

    why watch it?
E3 is the same stupid shit every year, it's just media hype and nothing else only interesting thing is when they announce new consoles.

It might be neat to see some cool previews right when they're released, but I don't think it'll have any impact on the hacking community.

I predict absolutely nothing as i've been following E3 every year and companies don't care about system updates. Only one who did was Microsoft last year.

It's highly likely that the next System Menu will be included in Wii Sports Resort/Island. It will include a bunch of IOS's to play the game and maybe fix the Photo Channel bug. I'm with everybody else if your reading this Waninkoko, please attempt to help. However, I don't think a DSi virtual console is going to come too soon, so I really don't think we'll have the ability to transfer and play virtual console games on a DSi and it uses a different IOS and ticket altogether, so it's unlikely both will be compatible with each other. However if Nintendo do decide to make this a function, it will leave them vulnerable for illegal DSiware and unofficial channels.

There was a Photo Channel bug, if you had the Updated version of Photo Channel and upgraded to 4.0 there was cases of peoples Wii's freezing while playing games at various times, however this can be passed if you delte the updated Photo Channel and stick to the old one, which I prefer by the way 'cos you can use mp3 rather than aac.
