As I was loading some stuff on one of my daughters' DS, I began to wonder, how do most tempers use their DS. Of course, with all the fancy flash carts and moonshell, you can play music and watch videos, but do you? So, do you also have an ipod, or do you use your DS as your mobile mp3 player? On long trips, when you take your DS (which we all do), do you load it up with some of your favorite TV shows/movies for viewing in the car or airplane?

The core question is: Are these cool flash cart/moonshell features just a mere novelty, or do you use them in your everyday life?

Music, videos, and some games. I mainly use my PSP for games and DS for a little bit of everything.

I use Moonshell for some audiobooks. Too lazy to BatchDPG stuff.

You can break your DS like that though! Don't do it! If you want to know, an easy way to get DPG movies is just use vixy.net and download a flash video from youtube and then drag that into DPGtools. Easy. [IMG]

Just get one of those DVD to x programs then use BatchDPG to convert from there. :/

BatchDPG can add the subs straight to the DPG, whilst it encodes ... you need to go from DVD to video file, then using BatchDPG, covnert to DPG, whilst adding the subs.

All I basically use it for is to play games and homebrew, never used it for music or videos. Though I do use my cellphone for music, but it handles music files a lot better than the DS.

A fun but kinda annoying after a while way to do it is to use WMM and add it yourself and save as WMV. Good way to pass time. [IMG]

    Solely for games.
I put audio/video on PSP which has bigger storage and bigger screen and that's the only reason =P

Just games. It's why I got it. The fact it can do the other things is of little use to me.

Hey, DarkAura, good tip. That website is great. I just used it to download a :30 Stargate:Continuum Movie trailer and it converted it great. Then, I dropped it in SUPER converter (similiar to BatchDPG) and now it looks great on my DS. Thanks again
