Hacking How do you play Custom Roms with Homebrew and CakesFW?

Hi, I already have Homebrew and CakesFW, but I'm still a complete noob at this. I saw that there was a Custom Rom version of Pokemon OR/AS called Pokemon Rutile Ruby/Star Sapphire, but I'm quite confused on how to play this. I saw that CFW (Custom Firmware) lets you launch and install CIA, but is it possible to get 3DS Game Roms in CIA form and install them that way, then patch them to play the Custom Rom that I'm trying to play?

Anyway, yeah that site has the things, and to play them you'd need to install that version, after uninstalling any other version of it (including the normal)
