Homebrew how do you make a homebrew app that plays a video?

i wanna know how to do this and also dont go saying this! in the replies: just use nintendo 3ds camera and play the video!

The "homebrew app that plays a video" was made by Rinnegatamante quite a few years ago, and it's simple, but rather inefficient because it uses Motion JPEG (and limited in controls)

Alternatives are converting to mobiclip/moflex, then either:
- inject them into a video title, and make professional-looking video apps
- stick the moflexes in the root of the SD, and play them using "3D Movie Player", the developer app
