1st off please tell me what it can do
then please tell me how to install it
I don't think you can just install CFW. You need to get a flashcard like R4i for DS and EZ Flash for GBA. Don't take my recommendations idk which flashcards are the best.
ok then how do you install it with a flashcart
You can't install it with a flashcard. You can play "backup" games on the flashcards. There are also some emulators. No CFW though. Also don't buy the flashcards I said somebody else on the temp probably knows better flashcards than me.
Optionally remove the boot animation + health & safety
Recovery from the bricker (if you have a compatible flashcard on hand)
Unlock adjustable brightness if you have a late model that comes with firmware version v5
Boot slot2 cards in DS mode without a passme
Disable signature checks on download play (so you can receive games from another console using intrusive flashcard features)
It's called Flashme, not too easy to find around these days. To instal it you need a flashcard and a metal-tipped tool, like a small flathead screwdriver with most of it taped off except the very tip.
Just want to quickly mention that the official Flashme site is long dead, so here's the last updated files for it
I really don't remember which one did what anymore.
I think I used a tooth stick and alu to short the SL1 button while installing the fw.
I found this :
it explains the different versions.
You can also check your current phat version:
Stealth = keeps boot animation, auto has to do with slot2 flashcards, might have been ds/gba default or priority over slot1...
