Hi,

I can't free up space on my hacked Vita slim. It's running Henkaku Enso 3.65.

I've tried deleting games using the manage storage utility and also by deleting games directly via their bubbles but when I check free space on my SD card it doesn't go up.

I tried doing it in Vita Shell too by deleting the folders but for example the PSP games are in folders called something like PSPEMU73638002 and I haven't got a clue what game that is so I didn't go ahead with the delete.

Am I doing something wrong?

Don't bump thread here on Gbatemp, easiest solution is to delete the game and refresh your database, also you would want to check your cluster that you use for the vita, 64kb is the correct one.

are you using sd2vita? use a regular memory card for psp stuff if the sd2vita card is small. I don't know what that folder is as it should be called pspemu by default.

When you say delete, does it matter if I use memory card manager or just delete a game via its bubble?

And what database do I refresh and how?

Cluster I think is what I did when formatting the card right? I think it was FAT32

You can delete the game via its bubble, if it doesn't update your space you might have to use vitashell to refresh your live area.

PSP/PS1 games downloaded via PKGJ/I whatever are sitting as isos / pbps respectively in your pspemu folder. ISO subfolder for PSP and (ironically) PSP/Game for PS1. The letters/numbers correspond with their official title ID of the original PSP/PS1 releases that you can look up online. Not sure how you are making a bubble but if its with bubble manager that isn't going to do anything to delete the original file, you have to go find these files in pspemu folder and delete them yourself.

I think it would be easiest if you got a memory card, then set that as mass storage. if you use yamt, you can designate the memory card as mass storage or if you use the one by Aurora Wright, it should designate it without having to do anything. use yamt lite, that's all most people need, which is ux0 and mass storage only. anyway, I don't know if it's still this way, but in the early days of psp exploits on the vita, the iso had to be 8 characters long or shorter in terms of name length. as you can see, I still have them that way, but I renamed them to follow the first 8 characters of the name rather than abridging them or using acronyms, like I had before.

it's easy to find games this way, and probably even easier if you can have the full name, without having to worry about title ids or anything.
