Hacking How do you check/test how fast a microSD card is?

I keep seeing things like "75x" or "80x" when reading about SD cards. And apparently only "fast" ones don't lock up on PoR in the R4. But how do you go about finding out the speed?

Yea, I checked that before making this topic. The one I have is a Kingston 2GB micro SD Japan. Its speed is not listed.

i have that same one and the read speed is 19.4 mb

Just test it out. If it works fine, it's fine.

Use HDTach, roadkil or something similar.

Kingston/Toshiba/PNY 2GB cards (made in Japan) have read speeds of above 18 MB/s
