Hacking How do I update to the latest CFW from Rxtools 2.7

So I used rxtools 2.7 a couple of years ago to make it so I don't have to insert a cartridge into my 3ds and had all of my gamers on my microsd card. I haven't touched my 3ds in a year but with sun &mmon coming out soon I assumed I'd need to update my 3ds to play it... So my question is how do i backup my saves and move to whatever the latest/most stable cfw is , with rxtools I had to go to a website everytime which sucked.

You should update to Luma3DS menuhax + emunand, or even go the best hax available and update to A9LH. https://plailect.github.io/Guide/get-started

Use jksm but none of your saves will be lost.

So i imported digimon world re digitized decode , I was using rxtools to play it , A9LH seems to be the way to go for stability+speed , but a reddit thread from a while ago said that it's hard to get region free on it. I looked at Luma3ds but I don't know what version any of my other stuff is. It involved downloading the gateway firmware or something onto my DSTWO .
