Homebrew How do I update my HBL to use .rpx files?

I hacked my Wii U way back in 2016 when it used .elf files. Then in 2017 they came out with .rpx files and I'm trying to use PPSSPP.rpx and it's invisible when I launch my default homebrew launcher. I have a installed forwarded homebrew launcher 2.1 that allows the .rpxs but I am trying to use the PPSSPP forwarder and it crashes. I believe it's because by default my homebrew launcher is still using .elfs and not rpxs so I need to change that. Hope this makes sense.

Afaik it doesn't work like that, although you might be crashing because of:

iirc it's because even though you exit mii maker, the homebrew launcher is still there on the Wii U's RAM.
If you try to re-launch the homebrew launcher payload while the homebrew launcher is still loaded on the Wii U it crashes (kinda) and hangs on a black screen

Since you, OP, use the web exploit to launch the homebrew channel, load mocha and then exit normally, you just tap the miimaker app to launch the homebrew channel again until you either reboot your Wii U or cause a soft reboot (like starting system settings and exiting)

(Note: It's been years I don't use the browser exploit nor mocha cfw, but I recall it worked like this)

So if you run the homebrew launcher .elf (through coldboot haxchi or browser exploit)you will have to open mii maker afterwards because the channel will crash. There is no newer version than 1.4 in .elf format, only rpx and channel and I don't get where you'd use the rpx version as haxchi doesn't support it, maybe a browser exploit does?

Anyways if you don't have 1.4 you should update to that from https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases
