How do I unselect forums in New Content Preferences?

So, I wanna change new content prefs to hide unrelated news but I can't unselect forums. How do I unselect?

Yes you can.
You go to New Content Prefs
Threads
Hold your click and select the forums you don't want to see
If you feel like hidding multiple forums, then Ctrl + Click to select all of them
Click Save
