A real Nintendo GameCube memory card creates a unique ID to save your real .sav files.
If your save files don't match the real Nintendo GameCube ID, they won't be readable.

Although you could try with a tool called GCMM (GameCube Memory Manager) and see if it can "inject" the .raw image of a save into a real Nintendo GameCube memory card.

For this, you'll need a Wii, your .raw file in SD and a real memory card. Both the .raw file and memory card must be from the same region.

Dolphin Emulator can create, export and restore .raw files if you're wondering how to get them.

Edit: Get your Nintendont save file. Export it to Dolphin, create .raw, export to sd, restore .raw from sd with GCMM into real memory card.

Edit: I honestly don't know if it'll work as I've done this process backwards (from real memory card to Nintendont) but you could try.

Nintendont save files are .RAW format files located at Path:/saves. Mine are at usb:/saves

The naming convention for each save file is the first 4 characters of the gameid (Animal Crossing is GAFE)

Juan is telling you that it's not enough to find this Nintendont save file, you also need to convert it to the proper format before putting it on a GC memory card.

What JuanMena said should work.

You need:

- GCMM (wii apps), which allows you to create a memory card image from a real GC memory card, and inject a memory card raw image into a real GC memory card.

- Dolphin (PC), which has a nice tool to manage GC memory cards content (i.e. transfer saves between two virtual memory cards)

- The .raw file of the Nintendont virtual memory card (which is in the "saves" folder, in the Nintendont directory).

If you have all this set and ready, I'll detail the next steps.

1 year later and I would like the next steps...
