How do I get the sprites from a DS game?

    Well, I wanted to know how I can extract sprites from a DS game.
    In this case it's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time.

    To much of work, I believe that are programs I can use to extract just the sprites.
    I tried gogling but returned to ground zero.

    Not sure, but I don't think that such a program exists...

    not that easy, but it's possible.
    don't know the exact workings, and it also differs a bit between each rom.
    but you can use DSlazy to unpack the files, and then use crystaltile2 to open and extract the sprites(takes a lot of fidling with settings.)

    I found the pokemon spirits using crystaltile2, but I don't have the right palette for them.

    What file are the sprites in?
    Also, what configs did you use, I wanna change the sprites for my pokemon and my partner so I dont have them walking around the town, without having them on my team

    I just used FAST6191's version of crystaltile2 with default setting. The spirits are a file call m_ground.bin in the monster folder.

    edit: Forgot to mention. For Tile Color Format, I used GBA 4bpp.

    CAn you tell me wich expecific settings I ahve to change to have a clear view of the tiles/sprites?

    You should play with the setting yourself.

    Well, I got it showing properly, well sort off, your is much better than mine, dunno what I did wrong :\

    Change the offset address.

    Er... trying changing the address to 4444.

    edit: This would only fix the first spirit. You have to figure out the rest yourself.

    Worked, it moved up, maybe its because of the pallet colours, mind uploading ur pallet?

    Still, It's not as aligned as yours, what could it be?

    Like I said in the first post in this topic, I don't have the right palette. The palette I used was in the map_bg folder.

    edit: Did you edit the extracted file?

    Hm... what did you use to extract the file? I just exported mine using crystaltile2, and it works just fine.

    nvm, it just got aligned right now, but only the first bulbasuar sprite, the other ones are still messy, I'll see if I can get it to work properly in the whole spriteset.
