On your 3DS run Decrypt9. Go to:

    Code:
EmuNAND Options > EmuNAND Backup/Restore > NAND Backup > Select name.
When that's done, start over and go to
    Code:
SysNAND Options > SysNAND Backup/Restore > NAND Restore (keep a9lh) > Select previously made emuNAND backup
When that's done, make sure to change your config on your CFW if needed.

This. However, doing this verbatim will still leave you with an emunand partition of ~2GB on your card. If you want ONLY sysnand with a9lh, backup your SD to your computer, use emunand9 or decrypt9 (I forget which) to format your SD, then copy everything back over and you'll have sysnand a9lh with no emunand.

No, that'll only format the visible partition and won't remove the hidden partition for EmuNAND.

Copy the files onto your computer, then use EmuNAND9 to format without EmuNAND, then copy the files back.

    in my opinion,
use decrypt9 to dump ctrnand, twl, and twp then restore these partition into your sysnand.
