Hacking How do i downgrade a New3dsXL with 9.9.0-26 U to 9.2 firmware?

Managed to snag a new3dsxl that just so happened to have 9.9.0-26 U from a friend for $100 !!! Is there any guide or someone that can point me in the right direction to downgrade to firmware 9.2 so i dont end up with a $100 brick?

If you just want menuhax+rednand. Stop at the end of Part 3. Though I suggest just going through with it all until the end. Don't skip steps, and take it slow. Read it over, ask questions if in doubt on certain steps. And good luck!

Yes, you can. Start at part 2 of the guide.

Actually, don't stop at the end of Part 3 but at Part IV Section I step 28. This way, you have FBI on your emuNAND/RedNAND.

and also i'm a bit confused at how my folders should look where it says:

1. Copy and merge the 3ds folder from the PlaiSysUpdater zip to root of your SD card
2. Copy and merge the 3ds folder from the EmuNAND9 zip to root of your SD card
   
   Since my 3ds sd card already has a "3ds" folder from the previous ninjhax/homebrew install do i just copy those 3ds folders from PlaiUPdater.zip and EmuNAND9.zip into the root of my sd card where the 3ds folder is located?

Actually, don't stop at the end of Part 3 but at Part IV Section I step 28. This way, you have FBI on your emuNAND/RedNAND.

Ah, forgot about that. So used to doing it on my own. Though I do the full A9LH guide now.

Yeah, just drag and drop the 3ds folder onto your sd card, and if it asks you to merge or overwrite, say OK.

Welp when i launch cubic ninja an go to start up ninjax 2.0 it takes me back to the 3ds home menu and tells me "an error has occured, Please save your data in any software then restart the system" :/ any ideas?

Did you delete the cubic ninja save data and rescanned the QR code for your new firmware?

Oh no. i dont think i did that. where would i find the save data i need to delete?

You can delete the cubic ninja save by holding L+R+X+Y on the Main Menu for 5 seconds.

Size of your SD Card? Also, do you have any other SD card laying around to use just to test?

it's a 4gb. I have a 16gb samsung ultra in my other 3ds i can use

Backup all your content on your 16gb sd card, and try using that instead.

Good, sometimes it's the SD card being used. Just keep following the guide and you should be good.

Most likely lol ! probably because it was some generic 4 gb sd that barely had any space left lol

Definitely the lack of space. An n3ds NAND backup is up to 1.8 GB in size.
