Homebrew How do I do a system transfer (Hacked O3DS to Hacked N3DSXL)?

I plan on upgrading to a N3DSXL, and I heard that "Non-legit" titles (eg. Homebrew, Games dumped from carts, etc) won't transfer. (well, I also heard that they do, but the tickets for them don't, therefore, they won't show on the home menu.) How can I transfer and keep all my stuff? I have a lot of HB apps (an entire folder!) from title.db, and don't wanna have to go through the pain of finding the .cias myself. do I just back-up the tickets before the transfer, then restore them after the transfer?
