In Austria (German language) it is really easy:

A Bear is in german a BÄR.
BÄR (or spelled BEER)

ErdBEER
BromBEER
HeidelBEER
PreiselBEER
HimBEER

So I only need a loeffel-4-3-110017001275-1700x1275.jpg
to defend myself from lot of different index.jpg

I know,very hard to "understand"....... hmmm.gif

I asked some German great grandpas once and they do pretty well for showers and ovens but their microwave tech left a bit to be desired.
Hahahaha.
Weird... usually Japan did the tech that suck and Germans did the tech that was good.
Actually... I think that Germans makes the best tools nowadays.
By tools I mean things like keys, screwdrivers, etc...

Germans make the best keys? How does that work?
Here is a talk in Chinese locks

If that is a bizarre world then you are correct. Never encountered that elsewhere in locks but it is a talk I found fascinating so it is here.

The supposition would presumably then be that Germany either makes the most secure locks or their general sector as a whole does best for it.

I don't know that I have ever heard of German locks being particularly good as these things go. Most of the big brands are not German (and it is not like you don't hear of all the other German engineering companies/they don't export massively) and did not start out as German if they got bought out.

Unless by keys it was hex/allen keys. In which case

Though

Skip to 22 minutes (or don't if you like tool fixing videos, and if you do and were unaware of that channel then sorry for the wasted evening).

While most of those might not be as well known to the general public as quality tools compared to the likes of mac, snap on and bahco I can safely say other than replacement issues (the previous two at least have nice vans that go round to your workshop every week or two) then most that make their living with a spanner would be delighted to have such things as their tools. I have a set or two myself (people don't know what they are and think they are cheap and nasty like draper or something before pricing them accordingly, I don't correct them before going "orf me back/shoulders" and slowly making my way home as I am now carrying many kilograms of steel formerly belonging to one of their dead relatives) and yeah.
