A good way to get dirt of is to use tape, not ductape, just the see-through kind u use for packing presents or something.
Press it litely.

I have no idea what could happen if you use household products.

Use those little cleaning cloths that come with glasses. No water or chemicals needed and they don't scratch the screen or the DS case (although for some strange reason only one of mine gets fingerprints off, think they make them out of different material sometimes.)

That might be stating the obvious, but don't use the same cloth to clean screens and other parts of the DS. Buttons and the back of the DS usually collect some oils being touched by finger tips and hands all the time. I use a clean cloth for cleaning up LCDs, and I replace when it gets dirty.

I'm serious. Windex and a paper towel on my white DSL.

yea i use windex and tissues or microfiber, but i use very little windex
i also use optimax cleaner alot of it (seeing how its non conductive and gentle) swear its just water in a bottle... think i heard it was ionized purified water processed in a clean room not 100% sure though.

i do have a screen protector so i dont mind windex

Everything goes well until now.

A soft cloth and some Vinager (however you spell it, im too tired) It cleans the screens really good and the high gloss on the outsides. Not pure Vinager though watered down a bit.

I keep mine in a micro-fiber towel in a side pocket of my backpack when I'm at work. I use the towel to wipe the screen and my glasses. I bought an 8 pack of these things in the automotive section of Target for $6. Also, my DS has these http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-JAVOScreen-...792&sr=8-16 . Glare proof is really useful when I'm playing it in my car during my lunch break.
