ROM Hack How do I change nd5 to nds

Now I can't remember how I did it before, but I tried renaming the rom to 'blabla.nds, but it still says 'file type: .nd5' So now it comes out as blabla.nds.nd5. Enlighten me please.

just left click
than click on rename
and change the 5 to S

2). By default, Windows hides extensions. This can cause problem with renaming files and keeping the old extension.

So, how do I change that default setting?

Open My Computer or any folder. Windows Vista/7 press Alt to bring up the Menu Bar.
Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Untick 'Hide extensions for known file types'.

Then you can rename the file type.
