I do not know if you can dump saves to the M3 Real GBA expansion pack. However, I do know that there is a version that works with the 3-in-1 so perhaps you are in luck.

I have used the Slot2 version to dump .sav files from my retail carts to my M3 Lite. I Then used the R4 software to convert them, and they work perfectly every time. You can give this site a try for converting save files for all different carts: http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php
